Backlighted Water Temperature Gauge - 12 volt system

For use on cars, trucks, heavy equipment, boats with inboard or outboard engines.

Water temperature tells a lot about the operation of your engine. A higher than normal water temperature indicates a low coolant level, blocked water intake, loose or missing fan and/or water pump belt ora plugged/leaking radiator.

Lower than normal operating temperature indicates a defective thermostat.

    • Mount directly in 2" hole
  • Sender included - NPT 1/8"- fits most standard sizes - other size adapters available at your local hardware or auto parts store
  • 12 volt systems
  • Suitable for all water cooled engines with sender thread connection
  • All you will need is 18 gauge stranded wire to make the necessary connections
  • Hole diameter is 2"
  • Meter OD is 2 3/16"
  • Meter depth from front of panel to the end of the mounting studs is 2"

Connections

  • Red wire lead for + volt supply to internal lamp; Black wire to system ground
  • S Threaded terminal for connecting sensor wire
  • + Threaded terminal for connecting + volt supply
  • - Threaded terminal for connecting system ground
  • Please remember that the sensor is automatically connected to system ground when installed. If installing where the body of the sensor is not tied to system ground, it will be necessary to hook up a ground to the body of the sensor element.
