ECS began as an engine building/reconditioning shop. Our founder Josh, has had extensive education and experience in engine building and reconditioning for more than 10 years - including sponsoring cars at the Sydney Speedway.
Building engines is a job that involves a lot of precision, a lot of attention to detail, a lot of patience...and a lot of time.
Over the years it was time that became theissue, and so we looked to shift our direction slightly, and decided to focus on exhaust parts.
That\'s where our roller coaster journey began!
Starting off with bends, mild steel mandrel bends, aluminium & stainless, we soon realised just how extensive the parts range would need to be if we were to achieve what we wanted to...that is, become a one-stop shop for all exhaust needs.
We soon expanded to include mild, stainless and alloy tube - then added in flanges, gaskets, mufflers, hotdogs, a whole steam bend and steam pipe range...and way too many more to list!
As the years have gone on we have remained dedicated to listening to our customers for that invaluable insight that only you guys can provide...our range of parts has continued to grow, as has our ability to better service the needs of our customers.
Our goal for the future is to finely tune our day-to-day running of the workshop, utilise the awesome new machines we have purchased & those we have built ourselves in order to develop even more parts, at even more affordable prices for you all...and ensure we\'re maintaining a high level of customer service every single day.
Online shopping can be broken down into 3 parts:
The first part of the process we can help you with if you need it (we can\'t actually place the order for you but we can run you through it), the 2nd part is all us...the final part, shipping (once the parcel has left us), is solely the responsibility ofthe courier service. We have no influence over the speed with which your package gets to you, or any control when it comes to ensuring it does indeed arrive.
If issues arise during the shipping process, we are always happy to help...please contact us and we\'ll do our best to sort the situation out as soon as possible.
In order to make the process as seamless as possible, we have put a lot of thought, and done a lot of trial and error, so as to make sure we are able to offer you the best prices for the most comprehensive & reliable service.
For this reason we only ship with Australia Post on eBay. Australia Post cover all your PO Box\'s, parcel lockers - andif you\'re not home, you can have your parcel stored safely at a post office. There are no regional charges to be concerned with, it\'s all covered. All the parcels we send have tracking, so as to ensure a trail in case of delivery issues.
We do allow \"Authority to leave\" but you must enter this in the shipping instructions at checkout (please do this in check out as if you send it to us in a message it may be missed on a busy day). This is something that is automatically added to the shipping labels. We still have a \"signaturerequired\" preference so the postman does actually try and deliver the parcel before he just leaves the parcel in a safe place or leaves it where the customer has requested.
PICKUP
Pickup is absolutely available for all locals (or even if you\'re travelling and just passing through!) - we just ask that you adhere to our pickup policy.

WHAT can be returned?
Any item may be returned if it is damaged or not as described.
Where the item has been damaged in transit, and the customer has NOT selectedinsuredshipping, they will be liable for return shipping PLUS the cost of a replacement item.
Australia Post eParcel and Australia Express Post donotinclude any insurances. Australia Post does not warranty any lost or stolen parcels and it\'s the responsibility of the customer to follow up any lost and stolen packages.
A \'change of mind\' or \'I ordered to much\'returned order will incur a restocking fee of 40%.
WHEN do items need to be returned by?
Items MUST be returned within 30 days of purchase date.

Items must be returned to company shipping address.

SHIPPING for returns?
If an item is not as described on our store, the customer will not be required to pay for return shipping.
Where an item is damaged in transit-covered by insured shippingand replaced by ECS - the customer will not be required to pay for return shipping.
CREDIT for returns?
If an item is not as described, we offer customers a replacement, store credit, or refund of money.
A refund back onto a customer credit card will incur a $30 fee.

Item must be in original packaging and not marked or used in any way.
