You are bidding on a No Longer Produced (Obsolete) VeryRare Now,Authentic SingleNOS Saleen Recaro Embroidered Avis Cloth Power Seat which came from theSaleen Speedlab Display Show Room from when Saleen Performance Inc which was on 9 Whatney in Irvine, California way back in 1998 and was also the one used in the 1998 Saleen Catalog as seen in the last two posted pictures and has never been installed on a Saleen Vehicle and isin NOS (New Old Stock) ExcellentCondition from the year 1998(17 years ago).
This Authentic Saleen Demo Recaro Avis Cloth Passenger Side Seat is a One Off (Hence why it is called a Demo Seat, but is fully Functional) Interior Saleen Item and is an Adjustable Powered Seat with Blue Led side Lit Switch which was unique to the Saleen Speedlab Demo Show Room as an item on display and was the one also used for the photo in the 1998 Saleen Catalog. This item was purchased long ago from an Ex Saleen Employee who managed to purchase this item when Saleen was moving facilities in Irvine, from one location to another. I acquired it years ago and it has only ever been stored. If you remembered Visiting Saleen Performance Inc when they were on Whatney in Irvine then you would have seen this Seat in their Speedlab Showroom.
Note: I offered this seat two times in the past on E-bay and it was bid on and sold both times, but buyers backed out and never made payment. Only bid if you have the funds to pay!
This Type of Saleen Recaro Avis Cloth Seat with Unique Saleen Embroidery retailed for $999 way back in 1998 through Saleen Performance Speedlab and has not been available for years and is very Rare and hard to come by especially in this NOS (New Old Stock) Excellent Condition. When this was on Display in the Showroom it was elevated so no one was really able to sit in it to try it out. This Saleen Cloth Recaro Seat with this Style Embroidery could typically be seen on the 1997 and 1998 Saleen S351 and S281 Mustangs that came equipped with the Saleen Avis Cloth Recaro Seats. This Auction is for the One Seat seen here. This is an Authentic Saleen Part from the past, a Power Sports Seat that has a dynamic look and ergonomic design that offers superior comfort and has contoured bolsters which hold you firmly in place through the tightest of corners. This Saleen Recaro seat has a slightly contoured shoulder area, defined side bolsters, Recaro Airmatic system for effective lumbar support, fully upholstered and adjustable headrest, bearing-mounted seat cushion, seat cushion extension.This Rare Saleen Seat now can be used on any Ford Mustang from 1994 through 2004 but with this type of Saleen Recaro Embroidery came specifically on the 1997 and 1998 Saleen Mustang Vehicles and was an optional item and retailed for $999.99 when they were readily available back in 1998 (17 years ago) Note: This Saleen Recaro Seat has not been available through Saleen for many years, very hard to come by now a days.
