Pretty much extinct as a new part - but here's the closest to 'new'...
Commonly known as the "1989 XJS Pre-Airbag" Steering Wheel, this design is recognized as one of the most beautiful steering wheels ever offered by Jaguar.
With a limited production run, it was most commonly found in only the 1989 XJS models and the last few Series 3 XJ12 sedans.
Covered in rich Black leather, the grip is noticeably thicker and chunkierthan other stock Jaguar wheels from that era - you can see that it also features thumb 'rests' at '10' and '2' on a clock face. Additionally it comes with the 2-button horn pad that is unique to this wheel. The main attraction is that it is a straight-forward replacement for Jaguar's stock wheel on the following models:
1974-1987 XJ6, XJ6L & XJ6C -
1974-1992 XJ12, XJ12L & XJ12C -
1976-1989 XJS Coupe, Cabriolet [XJ-SC] & Convertible
