NOTE..GM\'s early grille\'s in the 79-81 Firebird TAseries had an additional hole in the center lower of each grille about 3/16\".. then they disco\'d the hole. They did not use it and was soon removed & used an industrial quality adhesive to better secure & long term align the grilles, which also helped prevent buckling from hole to hole, as seen in many older grills...They also used TORX head screws (not phillips head) & this has been the case ever since.We have purposely NOT put a 6thholein the lower grill were you don\'t use it & GM does not either ..... but IF you want to .. put one in, more importantly... wegive the correct fitting purposely reproducedTorx headfastener kit & heavy duty black tapefor that purpose.
NOTE:# 2...we are shortly to bring in a series of specific 2nd gen Firebird & something more special that restorers of 79-81 Firebird TA\'s have been hanging out for... parts that are both special, expense to tool up for and absolutely wanted.. as enthusiasts.. we still get excited about things like this... thank you.
