Weatherproof ABS plastic bumper fillers, like these for 1981- 1983 Buick Regal models, won’t rot or crack (assuming normal usage), and willarrive pre-drilled, primed & ready to paint (though a little light sandingbefore painting is recommended, as most any painter will suggest), designed to fitlike your original bumper filler. Justuse the hardware you already have to attach the new fillers. We've learned over the years that some GMcars built in the 1970s & 1980s were built better than others. If yours isn't one that was, these fillerswill still fit, you just might need to elongate a pre-drilled attachment pointfirst. We know first-hand: the exact same set of fillers can fitone car perfectly yet when taken off that car and placed on aseemingly-identical copy of that model, fit not quite as perfectly without alittle adjustment first.
