The actual metal trim is no longer available unless found NOS.
When the metal trim does pop up on eBay it usually goes for $100 or more. We just want to put this advisory here because We've had a couple buyers message us after purchase believing they where buying the original metal trim for $20. With that being said, this is an affordable alternative to replacing the trunk trim. The trim in the photo is of the actual trim on our own 1986 Cutlass Salon. Our molding is thicker and made to go on the lids of thick hoods, has better adhesion then the Chinese knock off and will not fall of the vehicle like the cheap stuff and has a permanent Mylar coating to protect it from scratches that the cheap one does not. Check out some of our truck moldings where we show the difference in the molding we sell and the cowles product molding seen at auto parts stores. What you see in the photo is what you get. If not happy, simply return for a refund.
