This is a4 piece set of windowsweeps (also called belt line molding, felts or fuzzies) is for the1977-1979 Pontiac Bonneville or Catalina2door sedan (see note in red below). The window sweeps attach to the top of the door on the outside and the top of the door panel on the inside, they wipe or sweep the door glass as you roll the window up and down. If your windows are loose or if they rattle then this could be the problem, they also help keep water and debris out of the doors so they won\'t rust out.
The 1977-1979 Bonneville & Catalina could have come with 2 different styles of outer window sweeps. Some cars had the chrome strip attached to the outer window sweep and some had the chrome attached to the door. This set is for the cars that do not have the chrome attached to the outer sweep, if you remove your outer sweep the chrome is separate from the sweep.
