Up for your auction bids is this good used original Mopar 1968-69 426 Hemi Emissions Control Valve. I believe this to be Chrysler part # of 280601, but am not positive, as is is not stamped on this item anywhere. This item helped to control emissions in this era Hemis and perhaps other (383-440?) Chrysler V-8 motors. It was part of the \"Chrysler Clean Air Package\". A rare, hard to find item, that I don\'t believe is available aftermarket or in reproduction. Please make sure this is the correct item for your application, before bidding on. Featured emission control valve is a very clean original piece, that is not rusty or corroded in the metal bracket or underside of valve. Has pretty good original plating still for the age of this. Has been stored away on the shelf inside for many, many years. All the nipples that hoses attach to are in in nice shape. The green plastic is quite clean and is not faded out. There is one of the tabs on green cap part that is broken off (see last picture), but cap still holds on tightly, and if you just rotate cap a little so that the broken tab is to the back side when mounted, I don\'t think you\'ll hardly notice it. Nothing else is bent or distorted. Looks to be a fairly lower- mileage piece, that should likely work just fine still. Don\'t miss this hard to find 426 Hemi -related item, if yours is missing, damaged, or badly corroded. Very reasonable opening bid price here-- as these go, so put in those good bids today!
