'68 ('68 a 1 year only on the reservoir) -'70 Buses have the Brake master cylinder reservoir right near the kick panels....
DO NOT GET BRAKE Fluid on the ABS Plastic kick panels.
AND clean out the bottom U channel of all brake fluid too!
It was a VW design problem / defect as it only was like that for 3 years until they could use up the original order of parts.

Lower front kick panels which are made from
Black or GREY (you will have to state GREY panels in the purchase message section)
ABS plastic
with a hair cell surface.
No more of those particle board and vinyl problems like the the wood falling apart due to moisture in the air or the vinyl falling off and you having to re-glue it!
These panels fit like a glove (please, read the Positive feedback comments on these) andshow car quality!
Also, the wood ones are too thick to fit in the stock lip / grooves.
These are the proper thickness to fit all lip / grooves!
Easy up keep as all you need to do is to wipe them down with soap and water orany plastictype cleaners.
You will also receive a small sample ABS piece to test any cleaners, polishes or painting them another color with Krylon Fusion Plastic spray paint.
Also you will get 2x 1/8" Black oxide sheet metal screws too, but you might will need to drill thru these ABS panel holes & into the back steel panels as they were random drilled at the VW Factory.
