The middle is precision bent to fit your trunk lid perfectly and to accent that body line that the factory molding hides. These moldings are polished to a mirror finish andhave a1/8"neoprene self adhesive gasket applied to protect your beautiful paint job. The panel fits flush inside the pocket of the trunk lid for a clean modern look. This model has the hardware hidden which are studs welded right to the panel. It comes with all mounting hardware and a template to drill the holes in the trunk if you have a model without the holes. I also have moldings with the hardware exposed .
