Up for sale is a set of 4 wheel lip mouldings I purchased for a 1967 Mercury Cougar XR7 GT. I bought these items about 5 years ago and they have been sitting in the garage since. I didn't use them because I found a complete NOS set.

When I purchased these I was told 2 where NOS and 2 where remanufactured. I don't know which are which. I would guess the 2 in the plastic are the remanufactured and the 2 with the paper are NOS. My disclaimer is I can't say with 100% certainty that any are NOS or any are remanufactured. It really may be that 3 of them are remanufactured and 1 in NOS.

What I can say is all 4 look to be in near perfect condition. There are some blemishes on the side of the mouldings that would be facing the wheel lip. You will not see this when the item is installed on the car. See pictures 10 & 11. On a couple of them the surface feels as if there may have been some pits that where condition over. I tried to capture that in the pictures. See the very last picture (picture 12) in the list.

The wheel well mouldings are original 1967 Mercury Cougar items. I pulled them out of the package today & compared them to the NOS mouldings that are on my 1967 Cougar. These are identical to the NOS set. I did notice that 3 of these mouldings look to be reconditioned and the 4th looks to be an original item. The finish on all 4 match each other. The screw holes all line up with the screw holes on my car and the shape lines up with wheel well lip.
