1965-1989 Stainless SBC Long Tube Chassis Small Block Chevy Round Port Headers
This is a Brand New set of long tube stainless headers. These are designed to work with both automatic and manual transmissions in a 1964-1989 Chevrolet (see compatible list below).
Features:
- 1-5/8" primary tubes
- 3" collectors
- Fits angled or straight plug small block Chevy oval exhaust port heads
- Thick steel flanges for a great seal
- Mandrel bent mild steel tubing
They are designed to work with:
- 1964-1987 Chevelle, Malibu, El Camino
- 1965-1989 Impala, Caprice, Bel Air, Biscayne
- 1967-1981 Camaro (will not work with 67-69 with factory A/C)
- 1970-1987 Monte Carlo
- 1968-1979 Nova
These headers are a chassis header and are meant to go inside of the frame rails on a 1965-1989 Chevrolet chassis. These headers require the removal or modification of locking steering columns if so equipped. Requires a left side A/C bracket however later vehicles with short compressors can use the stock bracket. They include all install hardware, collector reducers, and gaskets as pictured.
Please note that we have had a customer with a 1970's Monte Carlo that has had clearance issues with the upper control arm and head.
