This isaused engine assembly that was purchased from an estate. Motor was stored in a dry workshop on top of a bench for many years. This motor was removed from a from a wrecked 1965 Corvair convertible as I was told by the mans wife. I am not 100% sure of the year so ask first if needed.This is for1Corvair 140HP 4-carburetorengine as pictured.The motor looks mostly complete with Carbs, Linkage, Alternator, Distributor, Bellhousing, Clutch and more. Both exhaust manifolds have ears broken off where pipes attach. I could only find the bottom runners of the air cleaner and not the duel snorkel housing. Motorwill turn over by hand so nothing is locked up.Thismotor was usedin most 1964-1969 Corvair models and can be adapted to other applications. Please check on your own to see if it matches your application.
I do not know anything about the condition of the inner workings of this motor other than what I was told and the little that I can see on the outside.

I was asked to provide the block and head numbers so here is what I was able to get so far (see new pictures). The block number is T0415 RB. Clarks Corvairs page post this as a 1965-68140HP Corsa with manual trans.The right \"passanger\"side head casting number is 3878570. Clarks Corvairs post this as 1965-66 140HP with no smog.I am still working to get the heater box offfor the left head casting number. More to come.
When I purchased this motor I also purchased a non-complete Corvair 110HP 2 carb. motor. It comes with a short block, heads, and some extra parts. It is still together but no carbs, linkage. Just the short block assembly. I have decided to throw this in with the motor I am selling since whoever buys it must come and pick it up. They both can go together for this same price.
