The caliper brackets in this kit adapt these disc brakes to your original drum spindles. These are all high quality, brand new parts. These are the necessary essentials for your disc brake conversion. This kit is perfect for your 1955, 1956, 1957, and 1958 Chevy Bel Air, 210, etc.
One of the greatest features of this kit is the cross drilled, slotted, and zinc coated rotors. The pin point cross drilling on these rotors allows for much improved air flow. Cross drilling greatly lowers the temperature of the rotors, enhancing brake performance. The slotting in these rotors is designed to help remove water, dirt, and brake dust build up between the brake pad and the rotor. By eliminating these particles, slotted rotors increase brake response time and stopping distance. Finally, the silver zinc coating prevents rusting of the rotor and extends the rotor life.
