This display unit came out of my wife\'s new to her 2003 Z4 with 43K miles. The display worked when I removed it and I did not notice any missing pixels.
I replaced this display because the motor is not working so it must be raised and lowered by hand. In addition the plastic housing separates at the seams that goes around the entire unit, hence the gray duct tape you see in the pictures.
The display was fully operational when I removed it. I am selling this item as is.
