Recently this Carter X pump was professionally disassemble & totally restored to 100% New condition. Look\'s NOS. **Still looks to have original factory patina finish. Newly installed *Carter master rebuilt seals kit, makes this fuel pump now totally correct to run with now day unleaded gas with **ETHANOL or ALCOHOL.** This will *Stop seals & diaphragm from deteriorating. I see all the other Carter X fuel pump listed on eBay have the old type seal kit installed in them! Part number on this Carter X aluminum housing 4441S. Date code 18G9A. ** Correct fit for the 1968 to 1970 428 Shelby GT500 & Mercury Cyclone Spoiler/Cougar Eliminator all with the FE type (Q) & (R) code 428 CJ& SCJ engines. Also will work correct in the 428 Cobra Jet Torino & Fairlane GT & Mustang Mach 1 Cobra Jet (Q) & (R) code engines.
