The three cylinders of the injector bench testing unitin the picture above are the actual flow test results from this set ofHonda IPT injectors - after servicing they flow matchedat just 2 % ( which is awesome) !!!A flow matching set of injectors shouldallbe flowing within 5% of each other ( industry standard ) for proper engine performance, power, smooth idling and smooth throttle response during acceleration.

These injectors performed flawlessly during all the bench tests.

These injectors have all new upper o-rings, new upper rubber grommets, new lower seals,andmore importantly, all new internal microfilters have beeninstalled. Why take a chance on used and untested fuel injectors that may have crud filled internalfilters, old hardenedo-rings (vacuum leaks or fuel leaks), or a badcoil ??

Honda OEM fuel injectors are made by Keihin, and also by IPT ( Indiana Precision Technologies ), a division of Keihin. The numbers stamped on the side of these injectors\' plastic body ( 4109 ) are not the injector number, but are the manufacture date and batch code. These OEM Honda IPT injectors are identified by; their plastic discharge cap color, by the color of paint markings on the injector, and by the type of connector used. These injectors have no paint markings, and their plastic discharge caps are blue.The blue tips are often stained and faded, and may be hard to see in the pictures.These injectors have OBD 2 type connectors - the semi oval shaped Honda connectors. Blue tip Honda injectors are spec at 180 cc./ min.,17.6lb./hr., and are 12 ohm injectors (approximate).Just make sure that you replace them in a complete matching set, or that the individual injector you are replacing has the exact same color plastic discharge cap color, has the same color paint markings, has OBD 2 connectors, and has the same resistance !!

Sending your own vehicles\' fuelinjectors out to be refurbished, or buying a completeset of refurbished and flow matchedfuel injectorsare great ways to save a ton of money vs. buying brand new injectors at $70 TO $150 FOR EACH NEW INJECTOR. Genuine OEM FuelInjectors are designed to outlast your engine, and should last way more than 300,000 to 500,000 miles. Delphi and Bosch report that their injectors have a less the 3 % failure rate after 300,000 miles of continuous use !!!! They usually only fail to perform when they get clogged( a bad side effect of ethanol, or a bad batch of contaminated gas), or when the injectors internal coil winding fails ( happens, but rarely ). OEM injectors that are factory original are far superior in quality than the aftermarket injectors sold by the big name aftermarket suppliers. They may look the same, but they are definitely not the same quality as OE brands like Bosch, Delphi, Denso, IPT, JECS, Keihin, Nikki, Rochester, Siemens Deka, andWeber.

Beware of buying a cheapo set of \'no name\' brand of fuel injectors !

Each fuel injector is;

- externally cleaned

- resistance checked

-parts ( including internal filter ) are removed

- dirty and clogged injectors areultrasonically cleaned while being computer driven

-injectors are backflushed

- Then the injectorsparts are replaced with newhigh qualityo-rings, plastic caps (when caps are commercially available, usually they do not need to be replaced ), plastic spacers, andthe internal injector microfilter.

- The set of injectors are then flow tested on a computerized fuel injector bench testing unit and evaluated for leak down, flow volume and spray pattern. In order to pass, the injectors have tonot leak when closed under fullpressure, and they haveto have the proper spray pattern and the proper flow volumewhen tested under a number of differentscenarios. They are subjectedto multiple tests and are tested; At Static condition (wide Open), 3 millisecond pulse width, 6 millisecond pulse width, 12 millisecond pulse width, and are tested at various RPM.\'s. These tests insure that the injectors are performing correctly under all conditions, and will detect a faulty injector coil that may have passed a resistance check.

This set performed beyond excellent, and flow matched at just 2 % !!!!
