We have found the best way to install these grille\'s after they are modifiedwhen the factory clips are removed from the bottom of the grill.
Which is by using your 4 factory screws at the top and 4 factory zinc plated clips at the bottom which will make it secure for as long as you own your truck!Some other sellers try to use aftermarket (non zinc plated) metal clips made in China which are exposed stick out like a sore thumb, then claim to powder coat them when they are just painted with a spray can and then will rust all over the honeycomb and grill that will come loose and fall off after you hit the first bump.

Yes,we use 4 factory zinc plated clips at the bottom just like the factory see pictures above.
Beware of the seller that only uses 2 clips which is half of what the grille comes with from Ford.
Even worse is another seller that smashes a aftermarket non galvanized clip flat ( unlike the Ford galvanized OEM U SHAPED clip ) removing the tension that holds it in place which will make it come loose and rattle and is exposed on the honeycomb that stick out like a sore thumbunlike the OEM clip and will and will rust all over the honeycomb after just a couple of months.
Don\'t except 2nd best and buy from the number 1 seller which is us not only on eBay but in the entireUS.
