(2) Shelby GT350 Mustang 15” X 8.5” R-model type wheels American Racing. Here is a pair of 2 American Racing 15” x 8.5” Ford Torque Thrust wheels. These are the R-model Shelby type wheels that were re-issued years ago by American Racing. They are called Torque Thrust wheels today but years ago when they were first issued in 1965 they were called American Racing GT wheels. These are for a Ford application with a bolt pattern of 5 on 4 ½”. These are the early version with the shouldered lug nuts seats. These wheels were used as rear wheels on a 66 Shelby GT350 vintage race car. They are used but are in very nice shape with no issues ready to use again. They come with new center caps that were never installed. These vintage appearing 15” x 8.5” rims will fit most any 1960’s muscle cars . These are not machined or modified in any way. They have a 3 ¾” backspacing to them and will work on the rear of an early Mustang or the front depending on size of fender flair and tire. New wheels are about 125.00 each but these are no longer available in this early lug nut configuration so they are very sought after if you want that period correct look.
