Kinetic rotors are machined from the finest G3000 grade castings the ideal balance between tensile strength and hardness.

PERFORMANCE CERAMIC PADS

Kinetic Ceramic Pads offer superior resistance to fade without the noise and dust associated with metal pads.

CHAMFERED AND SLOTTED LIKE THE OE PAD THERMAL SCORCHED FOR FAST BREAK-IN More Stopping Power Than Other Leading Brands
FASTER STOPS!

Cross drilled rotors can improve stopping power up to 35% over stock rotors as reported in SAE Technical Paper 2006-01-0691 "The Effect of Rotor Cross-drilling on Brake Performance". That is why Corvette, Porsche, Mercedes and BMW vehicles come factory direct with drilled brake rotors, i.e. not dimpled or slotted. The fact is that the drill holes greatly improve convection heat transfer and the result is more pad bite. The report also states that "it is possible to have too many holes, in which case too much cooling air would be lost before reaching the hottest part of the rotor". Kinetic rotors are designed for optimum rotor cooling and durability with one cooling hole per vane. This also provides superior strength to avoid cracking.

STOP ROTOR WARPING!

High rotor temperature can cause heat spots to form in the rotor, and this cases pulsating brakes. Cross drilled rotors keep the brakes up to 150 degrees cooler to prevent rotor warping.

GENUINE KINETIC CERAMIC BRAKE PADS!

Most vehicles come with ceramic pads from the factory. Kinetic's pads are the perfect replacement for serious street performance. All pads are made using positive mold technology for quiet, consistent braking. Pads are chamfered and slotted like the OE, and come with dual layer rubber shims.

Are the drilled holes and slots directional?

Yes, the rotors are machined based on their orientation on the vehicle. Driver's side (left) and passenger's side(right) have unique patterns so the slot trails toward the back of the vehicle.

How many pads come in a "set"?

On listings for front or rear only, one set refers to four individual brake pads, enough for the entire front or rear axle of the vehicle. Front and rear kit listings come with eight individual brake pads, enough for all four wheels of the vehicle. Please note that some applications such as Audi and Corvette, among others, have a unique number of pads based on their caliper design, e.g. a Corvette Z06 set is 12 brake pads for the front and 8 brake pads for the rear. The important thing to understand is that a "kit" refers to all the parts for the application specified, I.e. front is two complete front wheels; front and rear is four complete front and rear wheels.

Are any modifications necessary to make these rotors fit my vehicle?

No modifications or alterations are needed in order to install our brakes. All parts are designed to be direct original equipment replacement parts with simple bolt-on installation.

Is the brake rotor picture the same as the rotor I will receive?

The photo in the listing is a generic representation of the item you will receive. With over 1700 different part numbers, it is not possible for us to post unique pictures for each application due to graphic storage space limitations. The purpose of the image is for visual representation of a typical patter of the machined drill holes and slots as well as the silver zinc surface finish.

Will I get tracking information?

Yes, tracking information is automatically sent to your email address when the items have been shipped. Typical handling time is one to three business days after payment has cleared, so you will typicall get the e-mail from Fedex within 72 hours. Please check your junk mail box for the Fedex tracking information as it sometimes ends up there.
