    Find programmer first

    I live in Toledo Ohio. After calling all the recommended people to program the key I found none do that key and the others I called not on the list didn’t either. The local Cadillac dealer wants $250. Lots higher than the people here listed at about $50. Can’t pull the trigger on that. Still looking. Any help?

    Looks good but doesn't work.

    These keys look like the real thing but they didn't work on my Saab. I used one of the new cases and transfered the electronic guts of my old key, the case was worn. The new key was then useful.

    Comes with an uncoded transponder chip

    Seller confirmed by email: the transponder is NOT coded at all so you cannot marry this key with a Tech-2 without first having the transponder chip coded or cloned. Once that's done you might be OK. The key blank and shell are OK, at least. I ended up getting a coded transponder without the key and using the key blank from this thing to complete the assembly.

    Only things is can't get it programed where Iive. I have to drive 140 miles to have it done .
