    This little part can save you thousands of dollars! And my cost was $6.00 including shipping.

    This part is terrific value, fit perfectly, and should last forever, unlike the original gear which was shot. If you have a BMW X3 (or X5), and you have 100k + miles, and you get the trifecta of ABS light, 4x4 light, and "brake" light, then you likely need this part. Do a little google research on "E53 X5 E83 X3 BMW Transfer Case Actuator Motor Gear Repair", reserve a rainy afternoon for a few hours and take a shot at the repair.
