Poor craftsmanship/manufacturing defect/arrived with destroyed threads
The part comes with 2 plugs screwed in to the refrigerant line connection ports. Upon removal of one of these plugs, I discovered severe thread damage to the plug and the connection on the condenser. The thread damage rendered the product unusable as there was no way to install the line on my vehicle into the part. I don't know if the plug was cross-threaded, or the manufacturer simply used a plug that already had poor threads, or if the tooling of the threads on the part itself was poorly done and that damaged the plugs' threads when the plug was initially installed. But due to some manufacturing defect, it came out of the box in an un-serviceable condition. Merely removing/unscrewing this plug would not cause the thread damage shown in the attached photo's, and there was definitely no ... The chewed up threads on the condensers connection point could potentially cause damage do the threads of your vehicles refrigerant lines upon attempt of install. I don't believe this occurred in my case, but it is a concern and is one of the reasons this defect is unacceptable. Attached is a pic of the condensers connection port showcasing the severely damaged threads, as well as pics of the plug with damaged threads.
