Cleans and polishes, but not dramatic.
Seems like working, but not for deeply burnt tips. I have 2011 WRX which has a burnt exhaust tip, so I applied this, but I can't say there is much difference between ordinary wheel cleaner and this product. It definitely adds shining effect because it polishes, but don't have miracle cleaning power in my opinion. I applied and scrubbed with clean cloth, and even scrubbed with brush but I failed to clean out this burnt tip.Seems like working, but not for deeply burnt tips. OK. I bought this on a sort of lark-- I read the reviews and gave it a shot. My stainless steel tailpipes on my older Porsche were black with dirt and soot-- I hadn't polished them in maybe 5 years. I followed the instructions and-- a surprise to me-- they cleared up almost immediately. It took maybe 2 minutes per exhaust tip. I used, maybe 1/3 of the jar to do this job. Note that one exhaust tip has, what seems to be a bit of rust, and the polish did not clean it all up. BUT, I am pretty impressed with the product-- and surprised. In the first picture, I had cleaned the outside of the left exhaust tip, but not the right. In the second picture, I cleaned the left set, but not the right.OK.
