Responses were poorly worded and hard to understand. After multiple messages, was told I could ship it back for refund, but would have to pay shipping. Due to ebay's buyer protections, I was able to get my refund without paying shipping. Would not buy from again.

    No-brainer upgrade

    About 1/5 the price of an inferior OEM part. I have an E65 745i, and when my parking brake actuator failed, I was content to live without a parking brake when I saw the price of the factory replacement. Then I found this--the part fits exactly as the original, except has a metal gear instead of plastic and costs a lot less. I was able to install without removing the actuator assembly from the car or disconnecting the parking brake cables. Would definitely recommend.

    Needs some TLC

    Good product but lacks the final smoothing of sharp edges. Still worth it. Be sure to check forums on how to install! Not as easy as you might think! But save heaps if you give it a go.
