The fobs are a very good quality. My key guy couldn't communicate with my particular car. I had to go to the Mercedes dealership which contacted Germany to get the results I needed, and they won't program aftermarket keys, so had to purchase one from them. Too bad. I loved the quality and looks of the two keys I purchased.

    It is not possible to open battery compartment.You can take just a spare key out,but not battery compartment.
