    Worked as hoped.

    It worked 1st try with the do-it-yourself programming instructions step B as found on the web. Yeah! However it has not worked to program step A of the instructions. I may have to take it the local locksmith to have that piece done.

    Cant program remote lock feature

    I can only give this 2 stars because I have tried numerous times to get the remote start and lock/unlock features programmed without success. Ad says it’s for the silver logo original which I have. Directions are clear except when you get to the part that says it didn’t work on the first try with some people, and to comment on it if it didn’t for you. So as of now I have a spare key that plugs into the ignition slot but can’t lock/unlock doors or start the car unless it’s in the slot.

    wasting customer's time

    Product decription states 'replacement... for 2008 Toyota Prius...when you receive it there's a slip of paper explaining it doesn't work if the original key has a silver logo. Half an hour on chat line and it turns out that I have to give them the original key's EIN and of course their product doesnt work with this one. They could avoid all this by lisiting the EINs that the product DOES work with. Total waste of my and their time.

    good bargain but might not last long. good for a spare key.

    It took me 3 tries to program it. The unlock and lock buttons are hard to press to the point that you cant even tell you are pressing the button. I have been using this for about 6 months, and the buttons have gotten better but i have to press unlock like 3-4 times before it will unlock the door. The battery inside might be weak. but its a good value.

    Never again

    2 Locksmiths and the Toyota dealer could not get this piece of junk to work with my 2006 Prius. It cost me more in trying to get set up than I paid for the unit and it was over priced as it was.
