    Gratifying door repair

    Takes some mechanical skill to install these for sure. Be sure to check out you tube videos for this repair. Directions were not entirely clear. I made the mistake of removing one of the cable ends in the handle or I would have completed the job in less time. There is no need to remove the cable end from it’s catch though the bottom one did fall out during repair. And I did have to tap the new bottom repair part into it’s catch hole as it was slightly larger than the hole. Lastly, the final fitting was too long to be installed from the back of the latch so I inserted it through the front of the latch and it went right on! Door works great now. Will certainly order same again when the passenger side rear door fails to open.

    Worked

    The instructions that came with the "kit" were helpful as was a link on Youtube specific to my make, model, and year for the fix allowed me to tackle the problem. It took me half hour. Fortunately the problem was easily accessed by removing just one part. I did have to spread out the slit with a cold chisel and clamp it back with a vice grip. I also sawed off about 1/4 inch of the part to match the existing original on the upper cable. I matched the spacing of that one which allowed me to be confident that the new part was in the right position. It worked.

    Dodge door cable end replacements

    Both my rear doors stopped working a few days apart. Once I received the parts, they were Quick, and easy to install! Took longer to take my door apart! Highly recommended, as new cables will have the same piece of plastic that failed originally. These aluminum ends will last a lifetime!

    Really unique and awesome product!
