I like how thoughtful the inside of package was. Everything explained step by step. They advised how to place the part in a better spot. They even gave addresses of few closer to me UPS locations for core returns. About part itself. So far so good, my car running with no problems. I did not have the code on dashboard for the TMC, but I know it was failing. I had engine light and AT light occasionally. After replacing TMC, the named lights went off. Hopefully it will work as great over time.

    Works great but it's tricky

    I bought this piece in hopes that it would fix my "AT" and "Check Engine Light" errors on the dash. The car was also jerking in and out of gear randomly and would be stuck out of gear. Obviously check the transmission fluid but the real issue here was this module that basically controls the functionality of the transmission. It's a bit tricky to get to and the spaces are kind of tight but it's basically right under the battery and battery housing. Then there are three bolts holding this thing on to the transmission. Took about 2 hours because I didn't have the correct tools but I was able to get er out of there eventually and the new one in. Once the car was back together, you hear all of the computers running again (loud as hell) and all of the lights go away and this car is shifting like ...

    Great value. Quality part

    No one in Phoenix could find the part. On back order with Mazda for 2 months. All they could find was 1 TCM from a junk yard with a 30 day warranty. The part I purchased has a 1 year warranty. An honest mechanic installed it and it's working great. I saved $700 by going this route compared to an estimate that I got from a transmission shop.

    Happy I did this

    Was hesitant to change this part out myself, but I'm glad I went for it. It was a little tricky, but not too hard, took me about 1.5 hours. Found a great YouTube video that walked me through it. Great value and fixed a problem my mechanic said he couldn't find a replacement TCM for. Great instructions and a label included for the return. Thanks
