Seems to be a different product than shown. Items received was black not green in color and seemed a little longer than the stock piece. Got it seated after using locking pliers and letting sit for a few days.

Our parts are custom made for installation FOR REPLACEMENT. They do not look the same as the factory installed one nor can they as many from factory are a poured process directly onto the pin. As for color we do vary dye lots as an effective means of quality control. Did the part work for you?

    Save you from a lot of trouble, still easy to install

    The original plastic joint had broken and I kept it together with two zipties. This product is sturdy, it was very easy to install, and since I installed it the gear shifting is precise again - there is no play for the stick. I recommend it to everybody with a Saab, even to change it preventively, before the original one will brake. (It will brake...)

    Solid

    Linkage adapter ripped out, originally a soft white rubber insert. Took it to a mechanic and they “fixed it” with frickin zip ties a year ago for 300. I fixed it in 30 minutes as a novice to a repair like this. It goes in tough, you’re gunna mangle the piece on the edges but. I’ll let you know quality if i have to buy another one in a year. Shipped in two days. Im a happy cramper

    SAAB 9-5 Automatic Transmission Cable Repir

    I had originally purchased this on Aug 08, 2018 and I'm just needed it today 09-28-2020 to fix the original cable end that attaches to the transmission. You will not be disappointed with this product it is a good alternative to purchasing a complete shift cable. It is well made, and works as described in the description and I highly recommend this to anyone needing to fix their cable that attaches to the transmission.
