OEM replacement
Not hard to do, the gear swap takes 3-5 minutes once the transfer case motor is out of the car. I had a terrible time getting the transfer case lower support bracket off of the car as my X3 transfer case bushing bolt was seized and had to be torched/cut out. Also FYI the transfer case mount bushing is a pain in the a** to get out or press back In Without the correct tool (or the BMW busing tool.
