    Electrically functional, but not a direct fit.

    Two of the clips required to mount the harness properly are not on this harness. I had to scavenge parts from the original harness and fit them to the Doorman unit. I had to remove part of the corrugated covering to accept a clip to the rear of the harness, and had to remove a section of the chain like cover to attach a "slide in" clip that holds the harness in the proper position. Other wise the harness would not lay flat, and the door would run over it. I would recommend buying this product if you are willing to take the time to alter it. It sure beats the price Chrysler wants for it.

    sliding door wiring harness

    Time will tell if it is a good value and if it is of good quality. for now it works as it should. In the old harness I found two wires nearly broken in half with the insulation cracked and bare wire visible. I've replaced harnesses in both sliding doors more than once, and so has the dealer.
