The location of the notch did not match my OEM part (1987 944), I had to grind in a new notch in the correct place. Be very careful about where you grind the new notch since it will determine how centered your shifter is. There is some adjustability to re-center, but not much. But otherwise it was easy to install and it works. It really does reduce the required shifter throw by a lot. Be careful doing 4 to 5 shifts with this installed, you can easily wind up in 3rd gear by accident!

The company with the bearings is fine it’s FedEx that lost/ miss delivered the package. They “Fedx” just set sent a response stating It was delivered to the correct address. When the photo of where it was dropped off. The photos where it should have gone are totally different. Photos were sent I checked the three neighbors nothing. FedEx still saying it was the right place. I don’t have my parts,so now just going to a local automotive store an getting the parts I needed an pick it up at store
