this is a nice 3/8 thick very tough rubber mat. unfortunately you have to drill holes to put screws in the metal of your tailgate or glue it on to the tailgate. my truck is brand new so I prefer to just lay it on the tailgate when I need to use it and leave it in the bed. Great value though for the price.
