All those magazine times from Road&Track and Car&driver are altitude and temperature corrected to unknown values. This makes the times they show kind of useless. How about a foot note or something stating these times are not real or better yet put them in a special section or just get rid of them completely.

I think the "stock" times that magazines get should be in the database, but agree, maybe they should be labled as such.... I didn't know all of those times are adjusted, are you sure?? I've seen them state from time to time that there was a headwind, or it was hot.... I figured they wouldn't even mention that if they correct in the end....

Yep, they have admitted the times are corrected but I have never seen the formula's they use or if they are applied equally.
