Think Craigslist crossed with the Yellow Pages. As early as next year, Ebay is introducing a component as part of
their efforts to go local that changes the way people shop for services. For right now, the company’s focus is on
automotive needs like oil changes, but company execs say that they hope this will branch out into a multitude of
different services across many industries.

Slated for the Ebay Motors site under a Service category, consumers will be able to search the area for discounts and
coupons for automotive service providers in their area.*

What will the business development guys at Ebay think of next?

Thanks to Joel for the tip.</p>
