Twin Turbo Mustang GT350 vs. Mustang GT500 – Street Hits

September 2nd, 2022

A strong dose of Mustang-on-Mustang roll racing action is on hand for today. This guy is so blessed that he owns not only a modified Mustang GT500 (1,100HP), but also a twin turbocharged Mustang GT350 (1,300HP). In this short clip, he plans to put them on the street against one another. Should be a good one.

The Mustang GT500 is a supercharged car. It utilizes a 5.2-liter V8 engine to generate massive horsepower – even in stock trim. Improving on factory condition, this car has been treated to supercharger porting, a full arsenal of performance bolt-ons and expert tuning. These mods result in the horsepower gains mentioned in the previous paragraph. This car is super-fast and reliable.

On the other side of the garage, the Mustang GT350 is powered by a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V8 that can produce 526HP and 429 lb.-ft. of torque (stock). Nicknamed Lucifer, this particular GT350 has been radically enhanced with a Hellion twin turbo setup. This beast of a Mustang can now churn out approximately 1,300HP.

After replacing a defective sensor and the spark plugs in the GT350, these Fords are ready to hit the road.

With the car owner and his significant other in the G350, and a trusted friend in the GT500, the duo rolls onto a public thoroughfare (somewhere in Mexico). From there, it’s throttle snorts and tire screeches as these two champions of the blue oval do battle.
