Twin Turbo 1969 Camaro Versus the World – Street Hits

December 5th, 2020

Greetings drag racing fans, roll racing fans and speed enthusiasts of every variety. This video takes us on a journey south of the border for an evening of street (roll) racing on the interstates of Mexico. These purpose-built vehicles are as diverse as their owners – all of whom are prepared to let it all hang out on every pass. Get ready, this is going to be a wild one!

The cameraman begins the night in a Corvette with an LS engine. It also has an East Coast Supercharger (ECS) blower on top. This Chevy makes approximately 815hp. As the ‘Vette rolls onto the interstate, he is joined by a Nissan GT R. The GT R has been modified to produce more than 800hp. In a close contest, the Nissan comes out on top.

Next up for the ECS Corvette is a second “Lil’ Red Corvette”. This one is a (factory supercharged) ZR1 version modified to produce 850hp. Surprisingly, the ECS Corvette pulls out another win.

After that, the camera car proceeds to race the twin turbocharged ’69 Camaro. This top-tier restomod looks and sounds amazing. Once again, the ECS car gets the jump and never looks back. Corvette FTW!

Lots more racing on this one. Check it out.
