Track Hits – 1300HP 3000GT VR4 vs 900HP Camaro SS and 1000HP Mustang

June 18th, 2020

This may be the fastest street driven DSM 3000GT VR4 in existence. Brian started with a stock 1997 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 and built it into the 1300hp beast you see in this video. Let’s check him out as he takes on all comers during the latest TRC Invitational from the Palm Beach International Raceway in sunny Florida.

Under the hood of this stunning Mitsubishi is a 3.2-liter engine (Brian Crower stroker crankshaft) built with R&R aluminum connecting rods and JE pistons. Engine machining was handled by Mazworx Manufacturing. The turbocharger has been upgraded to a Precision 7685. The car is regularly street driven and tuned by the owner.

The 900hp Chevrolet Camaro is powered by an LS3 Chevrolet (V8) engine with a stock bottom end. It has a custom ground camshaft and upgraded valve springs. Twin Walbro 450 fuel pumps and 1000cc fuel injectors deliver the go-go juice and a Huron Speed turbo kit with a methanol injection provides forced air induction. The Camaro is tuned by DSMLights. The manual transmission is a stock (TR6060) with a McLeod dual disc clutch.

There are piles and piles of great racing (roll and dig) action on this one.
