Take a look at this in car footage of SP Engineering’s Nissan GT-R SP1200 running low 9’s at over 160 MPH. This GT-R goes through the gears very quickly with it’s estimated 1,200+ HP. The engine eventually gave out at 33psi with coolant/water spraying out from a crack in the block.

The race is on for the first R35 Nissan GT-R to make it into the 8’s with several tuners vying for the achievement including AMS who just ran 9.07 @ 160.6 MPH in their Alpha 12 Nissan GT-R which also blew it’s motor during the runs or shortly after.
