However as you’ll see in the GoPro view of race 2, the E63s with it’s lighter weight, 5.5L V8 BiTurbo and 577HP starts reeling in the P85D very quickly and at the end of the 1/4 mile the two are just hundredth’s of a second apart with the Tesla winning both races even with the E63s clipping a slightly quicker ET on race 2.

We’re very interested to see how the P85D performs after Tesla Motors releases additional high end power via an upcoming software update. We’re estimating 11.4 @ 120+ MPH which should keep the Model S P85D from getting passed so easily by it’s competitors at highway speeds.
