Team NOLA Testing on the Outskirts of Sin City

August 11th, 2022

In preparation for the new season of “Fastest in America”, we caught Kye Kelley, Liz Musi and the rest of Team NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana) testing no less than three of their street cars on the mean streets of Las Vegas. This video was produced prior to the tragic accident that took the life of street racer Ryan Fellows near Las Vegas. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

The action begins with superstar drag racer Liz Musi in her 1968 Camaro known as Norma Jean. This nitrous huffing Camaro is a beast and Liz is capable of winning against anyone. She is widely considered to be drag racing royalty.

Next up is the funky Gen III Camaro. Believe it or not, this black beauty is powered by a Ford mill (also with nitrous). The Camaro is laying down over 1,000whp without the laughing gas. If Kye can get the power to the pavement, this crazy combo might just earn some serious street cred.

Then there’s the Black Buick Regal known as Claude Banks (from the movie “Life”). The turbo V6 has been extracted and a bulletproof 7.0-liter V8 was inserted in its place. This motor is built right from the Summit catalog to withstand copious amounts of go-go juice. Claude Banks is being driven by Kye’s right-hand man, Smoke.

The biggest stars of Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws (including JJ Da Boss, Kye Kelley, Liz Musi, Monza and Doc) are on their way to Vegas to race on the street for cash and bragging rights. We can’t wait for the new season.
