Street Racing – Mustang vs. CTS-V vs. Z06 Vette

June 16th, 2016

This is some top-tier street racing action between three domestic power houses. The Mustang has an awesome looking USMC paint scheme, an Aluminator Ford Racing engine, and a 76-millimeter CPR turbo kit. Hoo-Rah! This Ford is making 740whp on 93-octane fuel. The supercharged Caddy is making 630whp with a camshaft upgrade, a cold air intake, a crank pulley upgrade, and a methanol injection. Finally, we have the naturally-aspirated Chevrolet Corvette Z06 producing 600whp, the old fashioned way. The ‘Vette is also the camera car. Check it out – this is classic roll racing between three mean mothers. NOTE: We neither Read More

Corvette Z06 vs. Cadillac CTS-V

May 27th, 2016

This is street (roll) racing between a modified ‘Vette and a souped-up Cadillac. Times were, when you get your sports car modified to your liking and hit the streets for some roll racing action, the last thing that you would expect is for a sedan to give you a run for your money. Well, time passes and things change; today’s high-powered sedans are pretty potent from the factory and they are easily modified. Despite the fact that this race is between a top-tier sports coupe and a luxury sedan, it is one of the closest street contests that I have Read More

Twin-Turbo Vette Half-Mile World Record Holder

This fantastic looking Orange Chevy Corvette has earned the prestigious title of World Record Holder (for Corvettes) in the Half Mile. Just in case you’re wondering that is 204.54 mph. This video brings you a compilation of great heads-up half-mile roll racing and plenty of speed. The owner is Randy Hunter. The builder is Vengeance Racing and the car is a 2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 with a 437-cubic-inch tall deck RHS engine. It has a Callie’s Magnum crankshaft and connecting rods, an ATI harmonic dampener, Diamond pistons, a Vengeance camshaft, Mast 305mm LS7 cylinder heads, and twin Precision 6766 turbochargers.

Chi-Town Street Shootout

December 22nd, 2015

This clip features big-league roll racing from the streets of Chicago. Some pretty heavy hitters showed up; including an array of Nissan GT-Rs, a turbocharged Porsche, and a 600hp Corvette Z06. Check out the action as these bad boys run three (and sometimes even four) wide through the streets of a deserted metropolis. The Z06 ‘Vette held his own throughout the night but the Alpha 9 GT-R proved to be untouchable (get it? another reference to Chicago?). It rolls out strong with an AMS performance package that incorporates a pair of Alpha 9 billet wheel turbochargers, Alpha spec wastegate actuators, Read More

High Horsepower Street Slugfest

December 17th, 2015

This extensive list of cars reads like the murderer’s row of street racing. You don’t want to miss out when this many top-tier street racers (import and domestic) show up on the highways and bi-ways of Mexico. This may be the single best collection of elite level street racers ever assembled in one place! If you love Corvettes, then you’ll love this clip. First there’s a 706whp C7 Z06 with a exhaust headers, a camshaft and lower pulley upgrade, a heat exchanger with tank, and an RPM built tuner. Then you have an Evo with a Tscomp 2.0-liter engine, a Read More

Airstrip Attack Corvette Z06 vs Mustang Shelby GT500

October 15th, 2015

In this epic battle that is nearly as old as high-performance cars themselves, a Chevrolet and a Ford line up and go head-to-head. This modern day affair features a high-flying Chevrolet C6 Corvette Z06 and a top-of-the-line 2014 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. The scene is set on a closed airstrip at the New Coalinga Municipal Airport in Coalinga, California during the ShiftS3ctor Airstrip Attack 8 event. It’s half-mile dig racing at its best between two prime time nearly stock hot rods. The Mustang is bone stock but the Shelby GT500 package, with a 662hp 5.8-liter supercharged DOHC V8 and manual Read More

2000HP Texas Mile Corvette Z06

October 7th, 2015

This video is brought to us courtesy of KP Racing in Houston, Texas. It features Kelly Bise’s Chevrolet Corvette Z06 during dyno testing. In factory trim the Z06 is legendary by any standard but this little cream-puff is extraordinary in its own right. With a 427-cubic-inch Chevrolet LS engine, twin Pro-Mod 88-millimeter turbochargers, a 300-shot of nitrous, and a highly modified T56 transmission (with a custom-built 4-disc carbon-fiber clutch), Kelly has ambitions of claiming the Corvette record later this year during the Texas Mile event. If everything goes as planned, this car that is built specifically for the standing mile, could Read More

Hellcat Slayer? Cadillac CTS-V Street Racer

September 7th, 2015

It’s street racing – south of the border style and we got a pair of bad-axs Cadillacs lining up against all comers. The first one is equipped with a 125 shot of nitrous, a camshaft upgrade, and a crank pulley upgrade. He says that he’s making somewhere in the “high sixes” (kinda’ tongue in cheek, if you ask me). He then proceeds to walk the dog on a 750hp Dodge Challenger Hellcat with an aftermarket driveshaft and an E85 tune. Both cars are supercharged from the factory. Next up is a pretty blue Corvette Z06 with a 250 shot of Read More

Girl on Girl Action – Drag Racing That Is

June 17th, 2015

Nearly every red-blooded American male loves a good catfight; a little slap and tickle or a late night pillow fight between two beautiful women. This clip shows something even better than that. Here is some girl on girl action (blonde vs. brunette, no less) with the added attraction of some awesome automobiles travelling at high speeds. In the left lane we have Jessica (the blonde) in her stock C7 Z06 Corvette (supercharged 6.2-liter V8). This is her first time. Her first pass down the drag strip – you rascals – but she is confident in her Chevy. In the right lane Read More

C7 Z06 Vette vs. Lamborghini Huracan

June 10th, 2015

What is this? A humble Chevrolet that can hang in there with the legendary Italian supercar Lamborghini? It would seem to be the case in this video. This is a close one that takes place on an abandoned air-strip. The rear-wheel drive Z06 gets pretty “squirrely” during the warm-up pass, leading one to believe that it could have a problem against the all-wheel drive Huracan. Luckily this is a rolling race, so the hole shot is removed from the equation. The Chevy crosses the stripe first but the Lambo puts up a higher trap speed (151.4 mph to 150.4 mph). Read More
