This clip lets you take a run through each individual round of the Lights Out 7 Event in South Georgia as Ken Berry and the crew of the baddest ride in the Radial Tire class go against such competitors as Daniel Pharris in his 102mm twin-turbo Mustang, Stevie ‘Fast’ Jackson in his supercharged Fox Body, and a handful of other elite level racers. Ken promises that they’ll “give it everything they have and borrow some more from the neighbors.” This Vette is well equipped with a ProLine 487-cubic-inch small block, a brand new set of Gen 2 Precision 98-millimeter turbochargers, Read More

If you know anything about the Birdman, then you know that he doesn’t suffer from low self-esteem or lack confidence in his crew or car. There’s a good reason for that. This team has won upwards of $45,000 in prize money for the last 3 No Prep events. After defeating the best in the world in No Prep racing, including Discovery Channel’s Kye Kelley from the Street Outlaws series, Birdman cruised into Oklahoma City with an understandable swagger. This recently painted Pontiac Trans Am is packing a 622-cubic-inch big block Chevy engine pushed to the brink by a pair of Read More

Who ever dreamed of a V6 engine that amasses 559-cubic-inches – this thing has pistons the size of gallon paint cans – literally. To make this setup more incredible, the car is based in the desert environment of Doha, Qatar and lists the immaculate Qatar Racing Club as its home track. It doesn’t take a genius to see the hand of Al Anabi Performance (AAP) in the KH Series C6 Corvette, which is 7-years in the making. The engine and cylinder heads are custom built and all-aluminum with titanium cylinder inserts. A pair of Precision 98-millimeter turbochargers provide the forced air induction. Read More

Welcome to world famous Orlando Speed World, for some closed course dig passes and time-trial testing. Redline Motorsports has rented the track for the day and brought along their twin-turbocharged 2006 Chevrolet Corvette Z06. The track conditions are perfect and the bad bowtie is hitting a thunderous lick as it comes to the line. This little “cream-puff” is equipped with a 432-cubic-inch LSX engine with Diamond pistons, Oliver billet connecting rods, and a Callie’s Magnum crankshaft, topped off with a set of Mast Motorsports 285cc LS7 cylinder heads (and that’s only the tip of the iceberg). Forced air induction is Read More

Get a load of Pure Automotive Performance’s lime green FR-S campaigning at the World Cup Finals in Maryland. This is one artfully crafted drag car. It ends up with a North America record setting 9.2-second quarter-mile run at 150 mph. Under the hood of this FR-S you’ll find a turbocharged 3.0-liter 2JZ (Toyota) engine being force fed copious amounts of air via a Precision 67-millimeter turbocharger. The custom crafted intercooler and piping are immaculate on this ride and so is the interior. Pure Automotive certainly knows how to put the nuts and bolts together. In a virtual sea of awe inspiring automobiles, this nasty AMC Javelin (owned and operated by Bryant Goldstone) really stands out. The five-days of Drag Week 2015 is a brutal proving ground for any drag racer but this 2,500hp behemoth averaged 6-second passes over the entire five-days of racing on four separate tracks – that’s pretty amazing. Campaigning in the Ultimate Iron Class, this American classic is well equipped with a 572-cubic-inch Ultra-Tech Racing engine and a pair of Precision 88-millimeter turbochargers. This clip depicts the mighty Mopar in some stunning heads-up dig racing. The first pass nets a 6.98-second Read More

This video is over 6-minutes of heads-up dig (and roll) racing on the streets of New Mexico. All the likely suspects are present and the action is “muy caliente”. Here are some of the highlights from racing into the New Mexico night. A 740hp 2004 Subaru WRX STi with a Precision 6466 turbocharger destroys a 600hp WRX STi. The Terminator Mustang Cobra takes apart a 700hp all-wheel drive Honda Civic, a 400hp Dodge Neon, and gives a 750hp Mitsubishi Evo a good run for his money. A 600hp twin turbocharged Infiniti G35 goes against a 630hp Cadillac CTS-V and a Read More

Timers? We don’t need no stinking timers! We don’t need no stinking trees and we ain’t worried about no trap speed. That seems to be the attitude of racers in the style of drag racing known as “no prep.” No prep racers line up and come out of the hole using a human starter and there are no elapsed times; it’s is as simple as win or lose in classic heads-up style dig racing. However, there are classes and the turbocharged Camaro in this video is campaigning in the “drag radial” class. This red Bowtie is amply equipped with a Read More

You have likely heard of Larry Larson. Larry is the guy who campaigned the S-10 Pickup, during the Super Car Nationals 2014, dipping down into the 5s in the process. Well, he has turned his attention to a 2015 Camaro ZL1. Now, this bad Bowtie is winning classes and whipping as*es all over the mid-west. Under the hood, Larry has implanted a 540-cubic-inch billet aluminum big block CFE Racing engine with a Callie’s Magnum crankshaft, Oliver billet connecting rods, and Diamond 9:1 flat-top pistons. The cylinder heads are BMF with 405cc intake ports, 2.325 intake valves and 1.880 exhaust valves. Read More
