This awesome looking twin-turbocharged Lamborghini Huracan (driven by KC Howeth) posted a world record-setting speed of 238.6 mph; besting the old record by nearly 4 mph! The previous record holder was Gidi Chamdi and he was also piloting an Underground Racing prepared Lamborghini when he set it. Stolen Lambo vs Fatt Cat’s Challenger

November 3rd, 2015

When street racing, it pays to “Drive it like you stole it”, as the old saying goes. In this clip it is alleged that the driver of the 2015 Lamborghini Huracan may have actually stole it. He is an automobile transporter out on the town and looking for a thrill. If you only have one shot at seeing how you measure up in a street race, then you’ll want to head down south of the border (I didn’t know that there was a city in Mexico called Houston, hmmm) and look up a hustler named Fatt Cat. Chances are that Read More

700HP IMW Honda Civic Battles Supercars

September 15th, 2015

Check out this footage of the Innovative Motor Works Honda Civic going toe-to-toe with some exotic supercars. The business of the day is done as 65 mph roll racing. First, the “little import that could” lines up against a mighty 700hp Mustang Shelby GT500 and whips him handily. Next up is a turbocharged Toyota Supra, which is also narrowly dispatched. The Civic isn’t able to get a handle on the awesome sounding supercharged 775hp Corvette and gets beaten by a nose. Finally, an odd contest with a lame Huracan and a bad Bavarian wins easily. The Civic is outfitted with Read More

Drag Racing Huracan vs 918 Spyder

September 9th, 2015

These are two seriously elite supercars and they are lining up head-to-head on a closed airstrip for a one-mile race with a rolling start. Both cars begin rather timidly and proceed gently to 60 mph – then all hell breaks loose! The Lamborghini leaps out in front of the Porsche and scampers down the track at a break-neck pace. Around 140 mph the 918 overtakes the Lambo and leaves him in his wake. As you probably know, the Huracan is Lamborghini’s newest creation. It features all-wheel drive, a 602hp V10 engine, and a price tag of $240k, or about $4,000 Read More

Exotic Supercar Drag Racing

August 28th, 2015

In the words of a famous sugary soft drink character: “Oh, yeah!”  This clip brings us a plethora of exotic beauties from faraway places. This is an event crowded with an unbelievable field of high-end Italian and German sports machines, including Ferraris, Lamborghinis, and Porsches. You really don’t want to miss this action! In Superseries 1, the Lamborghini Aventador and Huracan square-off for some head-to-head dig action. Both cars are using launch control; therefore they leave the line at precisely the same instant. But wait – before the half-mile mark, the Huracan had pulled ahead by two car lengths. By Read More

C7 Z06 Vette vs. Lamborghini Huracan

June 10th, 2015

What is this? A humble Chevrolet that can hang in there with the legendary Italian supercar Lamborghini? It would seem to be the case in this video. This is a close one that takes place on an abandoned air-strip. The rear-wheel drive Z06 gets pretty “squirrely” during the warm-up pass, leading one to believe that it could have a problem against the all-wheel drive Huracan. Luckily this is a rolling race, so the hole shot is removed from the equation. The Chevy crosses the stripe first but the Lambo puts up a higher trap speed (151.4 mph to 150.4 mph). Read More

Lamborghini Battle: Aventador vs. Huracan

May 22nd, 2015

Talk about a running of the bulls; these two Italian supercars not only represent Lamborghini but they also represent approximately $650,000 in rolling stock. The Lamborghini brand has always been tied to famous fighting bulls, with most models named after bulls that have performed particularly valiantly in the ring. Aventador fought in the rings of Saragossa, Spain in 1993 and Huracan fought in 1879. Huracan is also the Mayan word for the god of wind, storm, and fire. The Aventador LP 700-4 boasts a 6.5-liter V12 engine (690HP) and a 7-speed semi-automatic transmission. The MSRP is around $400,000. The Huracan Read More

Lamborghini Huracan vs. Dodge SRT Viper T/A

May 20th, 2015

Two things about the Bay area: it is very windy there most of the time and they know how to host a spectacular supercar event. The Bay Area Racing Channel presents this awesome video (if you are a Lamborghini fan) of a Huracan absolutely annihilating a SRT Viper T/A. In all fairness the Viper never seems to gain traction in the right lane, but that is all part of drag racing, right? Despite similar horsepower ratings between the two cars (610 for the Huracan and 640 for the Viper), the Lambo appears to dominate this contest. Potential advantages for the Read More
