In preparation for the Summer No Prep Kings Season, Street Outlaw Daddy Dave is busy working the bugs out of his brand-new sled. You may remember Daddy Dave from his early days in various S10 pickups and more recently, in the Goliath Chevy II Nova. This season has him rolling up to the starting line in a very different brand of machine. It’s what Dave calls an Audi S5.

Dave Comstock and his crew commissioned Tynan Race Cars to build the Beast of an Audi that we are watching in this video. Of course, it’s a Pro Mod. Get over it. The color is from Mazda and it is stunning.

Under the hood is a work of art sponsored by FuelTech. The engine block is from Noonan Racing Engines. The 565 cubic-inch aluminum HEMI is being force fed by a 140-millimeter ProCharger. Other notable performance equipment includes 720 lb/h injectors, an FTS ignition system with CDI coils and an FTI600 controller. Those beautiful wheels are from RC Components.

Fresh off a dyno test and tune (3,523whp and 2,321 lb.-ft. of torque), Dave is set to hit the track for more testing. This should be a moving experience.
