Street Hits – Turbo MKV Supra vs. Mustang GT500

October 13th, 2020

Tonight, we ride along as a modified Toyota MKV Supra takes to the streets (of Mexico) for some high-level roll racing. Among the competitors found on the interstate this evening are a turbocharged BMW 335i and a Ford Mustang GT500 with some slight modifications. Time for some racing.

The MKV Supra is equipped with an inline 6-cylinder 3.0-liter engine and an 8-speed automatic transmission. The entire car is built by BMW and sold by Toyota. The featured car of this video has been altered with a P2uned turbo kit. The intake manifold and cylinder heads have been ported and it is tuned by Marin Nelson (marintuned).

Cubic inches are the trademark of the Mustang GT500. It comes with a massive 5.2-liter supercharged V8 engine that makes 760hp from the factory. The pony car has been altered with aftermarket bolt-ons (cold air intake, throttle spacer, etc.). The camshaft has been upgraded and it is running E85 fuel.

There is also a BMW 335i that rolls onto the scene. The Beemer is equipped with an all-aluminum inline 6-cylinder turbocharged engine. This car has a full accoutrement of aftermarket bolt-ons and it is running E85 fuel.

The first race of the night is between the Supra and the BMW. Who has the goods to take home the victory and challenge the GT500? Check out the video and see.
