As the 8 speed automatic versions of the new Chevrolet Corvette Z06 are hitting the tracks around the country we have the first results in from the famously fast ATCO raceway where a Z06 with just 37 miles on the odometer ran 10.38 @ 131.4 MPH.

The new Z06 has a 6.2L Supercharged V8 with 650 horsepower, this Z06 was also equipped with the Z07 package which could be slowing the car down with the added downforce created from the extra aerodynamic components.
