Both of these cars have been modified dramatically to improve engine performance.
I wouldn’t consider it a slanderous statement to say that BMW is not known for street racing prowess. That is precisely what makes this BMW 135i Coupe a great choice for a street sleeper. The slick looking Beemer has been upgraded with a Precision 6466 turbocharger and a DOCRace turbo kit, tuned by EMP Performance. Depending upon the boost setting, it is capable of producing a bit more than 700hp.
The Cadillac CTS-V is rocking a supercharged 6.2-liter V8. It has been treated to an upgraded set of cylinder heads (ported and polished), ported and polished blower, dual-nozzle methanol injection, upgraded camshaft, 1,300cc fuel injectors, and a Rick Crawford performance tuner. It is running E85 fuel and also makes just over 700hp.
The Cadillac sounds like thunder compared to the BMW, which sounds like an angry bumble-bee, but this is some closely contested roll racing action. Have a look.
